Overview
XenseSDK supports curved, flat, and fingertip tactile sensors on Windows/Linux and x86/ARM platforms. Its processing pipeline can derive depth, image differences, marker motion, 3D meshes, and distributed 3D force from each sensor frame.
Current supported versions
This documentation (latest) targets the following releases. Use a matching or newer package when following along:
xensesdk: 2.1.2- XenseGui (desktop viewer): V2.1.1
Core APIs
Sensor.create(...)opens a local sensor or remote sensor.sensor.selectSensorInfo(...)requests multiple outputs from the same frame.sensor.calibrateSensor()refreshes the reference image while unloaded.sensor.exportRuntimeConfig(...)exports an encrypted runtime for offlineSensor.createSolver(...)replay.Sensor.scanSerialNumber()returns visible serial-number-to-camera-ID mappings.
Data Outputs
Common Sensor.OutputType values include Rectify, Difference, Depth, Marker2D, Marker3D, Force, ForceNorm, ForceResultant, Mesh3D, Mesh3DFlow, and TimeStamp.
