XenseSDK Overview
XenseSDK supports curved, flat, and fingertip tactile sensors on Windows/Linux and x86/ARM platforms. Its processing pipeline can derive depth, image differences, marker motion, 3D meshes, and distributed six-axis force from each sensor frame.
Core APIs
Sensor.create(...)opens a local sensor, video source, or remote sensor.sensor.selectSensorInfo(...)requests multiple outputs from the same frame.sensor.calibrateSensor()refreshes the reference image while unloaded.sensor.exportRuntimeConfig(...)exports an encrypted runtime for offline replay.Sensor.createSolver(...)creates an offline solver.Sensor.scanSerialNumber()returns visible serial-number-to-camera-ID mappings.
Data Outputs
Common Sensor.OutputType values include Rectify, Difference, Depth, Marker2D, Marker3D, Force, ForceNorm, ForceResultant, Mesh3D, Mesh3DFlow, and TimeStamp. Array dimensions depend on sensor calibration; query sensor.rectify_size and sensor.grid_coord_size instead of hard-coding shapes.
